In this article published in the Hungarian Coach Review, I present how methods developed in the field of sports coaching – such as goal setting, focus and feedback – can be applied in both ADHD coaching and traditional coaching. I highlight how sports psychology frameworks can strengthen the conscious operation of attention, self-control and performance even in a client group where traditional frameworks are less likely to bring about breakthroughs.

The aim of this article is to provide practical guidance to coaches, professionals and the general public on how to adapt and integrate sport-based techniques such as structured routines, visualization or feedback from a competitive environment into ADHD support and developmental coaching processes, creating a supportive framework that contributes to unlocking the client’s potential and achieving long-term results.
